Nice John  . They have such a lovely toothy grin which suddenly becomes worrying when you have to  unhook one for the first time before returning it. The best one I got was a14.5lb pike

The worst Paul is if you cut your finger on a Pikes tooth.  Its hard to stop it bleeding.  There must be some sort of anticoagulant.  I had a nasty cut once and I am very careful unhooking one now

I believe there is something that coats the teeth that prevents healing .I was always lucky with pike but got caught out on a perch dorsal spine ouch.
