Lovely pastel work Jenifer. Velour paper has a nice soft texture and lends itself to wonderful blending. Well done.

Thanks, Robert. :)  Yes, velour paper is great for rendering lifelike feathers, fur, or human skin, and the like.  But once pastel strokes are down, it's difficult to erase them from velour paper.  Not just that, but some pastel colors (pigments) are staining, and the only way to remove them, is to paint over them.  But, it's hard to top velour paper for lifelike textures!
