Smiling Sugar Skull with Flowers by Thaneeya McArdle

I can't believe it's April already - where does the time go?! Here's a happy sugar skull to celebrate spring! I tried a different approach with this sugar skull - instead of drawing detailed designs all over the skull as usual, I drew minimal designs on the skull and surrounded it with a colorful array of detailed flowers. I created this artwork last year using Adobe Illustrator, and it will be a page in my upcoming 2016 Sugar Skulls Calendar.
