Someone on FB asked me to help him to draw a cat. I did this stage by stage and he followed every step. I was so pleased with the brilliant first cat drawing he did. I am not keen on this paper so didn't expect to get a very good result with it but its not bad.

Thanks John and Dorothy.  I used Daler Rowney Murano paper which is ok but I am not that impressed with it.  Happy Christmas to you both xx

I really have difficulty with fur.  I mostly use watercolor, pen and ink... I recently have been using some pastel, with it.  ive not been happy with paper other than arches or winsor newton cold press watercolor.. the heavier the better.  do pastels work ok with watercolor paper?  what kind of pastels do you use... I really don't know much about them... I don't use oil pastel, what do you think of caran dache?  I really like your art. cindy
