This is my mother's painting of 'The Hall Road', in Walkern, Hertfordshire - the place where she grew up and where her father - he would have been my grandfather - lived and worked. This is a wonderful piece. Just lovely. Reminds me of a cherished drawing by my grandmother of the home where she grew up.
