This tree is well known in these parts, stubbornly living it's life on it's own little island. The scenery of South Island, NZ is often spectacular.

Lovely work.  I'm  afraid over here some mindless idiot would either chop it down or tie a flag around it as they done with so many things around the country

I painted it in ordinary acrylics, Marilyn.

Still waiting for that big lottery win so we can re-visit wonderful NZ and I can give that tree a hug.
