Nelson & Pat, to get straight lines I do my "inking" in Adobe Illustrator. I sketch out my idea in pencil on paper, then scan it in and draw the lines digitally in Illustrator, either using a stylus to draw directly on my laptop's screen (it's a touchscreen) or when needed I use the mouse to click and drag straight lines, circles etc. I love Illustrator! :)

Thank you Than for the info and process....sounds like its a lot of work....would I be able to do the same thing with my artworks or do I have too many lines and details?
