Its raining and I'm the only one who seems daft enough to be out in it, rusty has been bouncing up and down in me , nibbling at me and being a pest as he wants to go for a walk, the back doors been open all evening but that not good enough he wants his trip around the block . All his friends the foxes and cats are looking at us from under cover

Great piece  again Paul... It's funny when the dogs want to go there is no stopping them. Rain Sun wind hail or snow when my old retriever wanted to go she would almost bring you the leash waiting at the door patiently. LOL

Thanks john, my last one woody  just sat and stared at walk time and even when watching tv you could feel his eyes boring into you.  Rusty starts by sitting on my lap and knocks my mobile phone away  and standing in front of the tv , he then starts jumping up and down on me , if i dont  move he starts  nibbling on me and being a total pest until i give in

Can we go walkies.

First he prevents me from using my tablet pc , then he starts using me as a trampoline and the final stage is were rusty starts to gently nibble on me and giving me his little howls . By this time i have got the message loud and clear that he want to go for his nightly walk.
I wouldn't mind but the back doors has been open all this time so he's not Desperate to go too the loo.
It's raining and the only way he's happy to go out in the rain is when he has his lead on.

Paul...your scribbles always tell such great stories...I am still amazed at the fox population there.  We have coyotes here but they are only rarely seen.

I remember all too well my golden retreiver sitting at my feet crying for me to take her for just one moire walk...again and again. LOL

Thanks john, the fox population  is unbelievable , between 11.00pm and midnight  i take Rusty out for a walk of about a mile  and I've  seen as many as 13 foxes on one night the normal night is 5 or 6 Foxes  most nights i get follow by foxes until they come to the end of their range.

Next doors garden is on the forth set of cubs this year, the garden next to that has had one set  and one of the empty garages at the end of the garden has had one set. The topical  urban fox can live with a range half the size of a football field  but i think we have  two or three foxes in the normal urban range. A country fox can heed about 9 square  miles
