Hope your well, I was reading an article yesterday about how they both died pretty well penniless, sad they brought so much joy for so many people. First time I have drawn or painted them, made me smile even as I was creating this.
Hi Adam, thank you for the compliments in January on my watercolour, My Cousin Siva. (Sorry about such a tardy reply!) You’d asked what colours I’d used for the skin tones. I’d thrown away the labels from the watercolour cakes, so I can’t remember the names. But my guess would be Burnt Sienna, Burnt Umber, Raw Umber, Yellow Ochre.
Thank you Adam for your friendship and for the explanation of the way you did your portrait. I tried that method many years ago but didn't have much patience for it. You obviously have. I would like my art group to have a go at that but can't see them having the patience either. I have one or two whizz kids! Ha ha.
