well, we have differing information. my googling came up with Crete and his being buried outside of holy ground at the request of the Greek Orthodox Church. Now you say he is in Greece. Which story is true? I figured that was his inscription: i.e. I have no fear, I have no hope, I am free. Stirring, no?

Do you live near the grave of Nikos Kazanzakis?  Where in Crete is it exactly? What are the words inscribed on his headstone? I love the man and figured you would be a good person to ask about this.  By the way, did you see my Miksa series?

Thanks a lot Anton.ill deffinetly  try these one out. The stone size is some 14 inches by 18 inches and its the landscape of austria which i painted on it with very minute details with acrylic colours. .

thanks for your time, the only problem is that to get this kind of stuff/other DIY tools to place where i live is a little headaque . .

Also can you please tell what kind of Glue or Adhesive works best for pebble art? i mean glueing the stones to each other or to cudboard and im looking for a good result that can last almost forever. .

How to choose subjects for your artwork? [Open Discussion] :D

Posted on July 26, 2013 at 8:47am 3 Comments

So, stumbled on a thread where the author asked how one goes about to choose a subject: wheather by visual appeal, meaning, etc.

I thought about this and after a day of examining my working process, I came up with these hereunder (this is my personal opinion):

"How to choose subjects is a tricky question; personally it is very difficult to choose just one subject, since most of the time, I end up tackling different projects at the same time.

I was wondering if I am the only guy who enjoys ATCs and Swap Art here on TAC? What do you say?

Anyway since I love to keep myself busy, and interacting with others, I joined a Facebook group: Artist Trading Card Club:

Was thinking of not uploading a sample of the ones I did here on TAC, but make some new ATCs (when I have some free time) just for that group!…
