Hi! I love your paintings!  You are very talented & creative! I just read about your experience with cluster headaches. I too take Sumatriptan but I also take Diclofenac with it & it's amazing how well that works! It's more common to take Naproxen with it and you can get it already combined (called Treximet). Anyway, I don't mean to sound like a med. junkie or something, (LOL!), I just wanted to offer something that may help.  Oh!  Also, botox injections (also done for migraines) helped mine stay gone for three solid months!  I wish I could afford to do that again but due to other medical issues, I am no longer able to work.  They can be expensive, but are completely worth a try if you can swing it!

In Fresno, California (a city close to where I live) the local Arts Council started doing something called Art Hop.  It's the first Thursday of every month and hundreds of businesses open up their locations for artists of all sorts to come in and show their work.  Not only galleries, but thirft stores, book stores, restaurants, bars, coffee shops, retail stores, you name it allow artists to showcase their pieces.  Well, last night I had an Art Hop Show at a local brewing company and it went…

How Art has Literally Saved My Life

Posted on July 15, 2013 at 2:00am 7 Comments

I am a 29 year old woman from a small town in California.  I have always loved art (painting specifically), but didn’t have much time for it a midst a busy work schedule and my social life.  I would create maybe 4-5 paintings a year and I was moderately happy with them, but really didn’t paint as often as I would like to or have the time to develop my talent like I should.  I had a pretty great job with decent pay, full benefits,  401k, you name it.  I had been there for 5 years and it…

I am so very excited! My last showing was January 26th and I already have another showing date booked and the prospect of having a booth at a local art festival. Oh happy day!! =D
