In all the are about 300 different sign language so it must make it very hard for a deaf person to move about the world because they need to learn both the local language as well as the locally used sign language so i will definitely stick To the flag waving that they taught at the boys brigade back in the 1960s or use whatsapp
Thanks Dorothy my daughter can sign a bit but from what she said there are several version of signing used in the uk and different groups don't want to standardise . Also having a group of people sitting about chatting by waving those little sandcastle flags makes a much more fun scribble.
