Most artists are intelligent, resourceful individuals who have great problem solving skills. Comparing and contrasting colors, shading, shape and composition while mentally designing the next project seems to be innate. In the words of Stuart Smalley "I'm smart enough, and, doggone it, people like me. " We all know this. So what's with the artistic types? Okay, I admit it. I know NOTHING about tech especially simple stuff. I have not been to Art Colony since I thought I had been locked out. I posted a nude and thought I had received a virtual slap on the wrist. (Yes, I did. It was removed.)  

Simultaneously, I have been phasing out my facebook. FB, for me, is like a trip to the multiplex mall, confusing, noisy, full of people I don't know and they want to share with me. Obviously, not a joyful experience.

Illustrating Every Page

Flavorwire is an online cultural arts magazine. Everyday there is something to inspire. The article today was "Illustrating Every Page of ‘Moby Dick’". The expected depictions were a whale and several boat scenes. I was greatly surprised when I viewed the interpretations, ranging from (possibly) digital collage, to pen and color pencil. (again, possibly, it might all be digital.)

hi dusty, i'm not sure about the kitten - whether or not it is the focul point. i'm thinking that maybe the viewer is more drawn to the flowers or the man's neck! i suppose that is also a surprise, when the viewer discovers the kitten i mean! thanks for liking it.
