Thanks a lot Elaine.  I haven't  been doing my scribbles that long , I started them to try and improve  my people  because i can't  do them also to try and do faces but decided I like my dumpy people  with just basic features so long as they had a story . I don't think my people are  consistent  enough  to do a proper cartoon . I try to keep the drawing and painting  time down to about  10 minutes  so some i can do while drinking a coffee so I just use a pen  and paint  before the inks dry.

Thank you so much, Elaine for your beautiful comment on my "Freckle-Faced Girl" portrait. I don't do  many people portraits but thought I'd give it a try. Please note that as much as we love photography, this site focuses on hand-crafted art forms so photography is not allowed.  Please also familiarize yourself with our guidelines on Digital Art.  As per the Member Guidelines:

Digital art is accepted, as long as it fits the following definition: "Computer-generated art that is created by hand (i.e. using a tablet, stencil etc), either from scratch or from a reference source."

We've also put together a handy Guide to Getting Started, which may help answer any questions you may have, such as how to create a bio for your page.
