I'm new to the Art Colony so still finding my way around. So far people have been very friendly and that's great.
I'm a semi-retired clinical psychologist. I used to work in cancer care, a very stressful job. I retired from that work but still run a small private practice.
Art has always been important to me. It helps me unwind and relax but also helps me find ways to express the difficult and complex emotions my job often throws up for me. I also have a campervan, which I adore, as often as I can, me , the dogs, and sometimes grandkids, head off into the mountains of Ireland where I can paint to my hearts content.
I look forward to sharing my art with this community and to seeing the great art of other members on this site.
