I'm a writer who has tired of words. Images have come to resonate most deeply with me. Untrained in the visual arts, I experience so much joy--and discover so very much about myself and the world around me--while putting paint onto canvas.
I notice you are from Madison, WI. My family and I lived there until I took a job in the printing trade in Phoenix, AZ. I graduated from Stroughton High School, and then went to Stout State College. Upon being graduated with a BS in Industrial Education, I went back to teach at Stoughton HS. I taught printing in HS for one year, after which I went into the lithographic trade, and I worked as a color separator for about 40 years. I retired about 13 years ago, and I now spend my time doing art work, primarily Oils, and Watercolors.
