About ME!

I began designing mandalas about seven years ago and have loved every minute of it.  I use  pen and ink, watercolor, markers, colored pencils, watercolor pencils, etc.  I have participated in several art festivals...just completed Double Decker Arts Festival in Oxford, MS.  Boy, was it hot!

Designing mandalas is a peaceful, meditative art form.  I love to put on some soft pretty music and lose myself in the design.

I create mandalas with themes and some with none. All of my mandalas have a name as they all have their own personality.  A project I developed that I really enjoy is doing commissioned mandalas...I call them "Living Histories".  I get many many details about someone and put them in a mandala.  These one-of-a-kind gifts never fail to fascinate the recipient.  I learn a lot by doing them as I research many of the details to make sure they are done correctly.

Hi Margaret,

I am very glad that my card finally arrived at their destination. Even today, before I open my leptop I was thinking of asking you if postcard arrived because I was afraid it did not arrive yet. I had such bad experiences when my letters were lost between continents ...
I'm glad if you liked my gift. It was made with love, is my way of working.

Mary Margaret I'm so happy you enjoy your little Zen Garden, I had fun making them. I needed a touch  of spring at the time it was so cold here. Happily the weather is starting to get warmer.
