thanks Rebecca   the secret to drawing fur is to fool the eyes of the viewer and cats are all about overlaying the next section, just as in life. Of course, eyes are all important but most  important of all is practice, practice, and more practice. I'm getting there and I'm sure you will too. Have a good day     Ed

Thanks for you kind comments on my recent posts. I was surprised when you said you watched Dr Martin as I didn't think Martin clunes humour traveled so well internationally.

  I only took up watercolour last year but still struggling with it because I'm not to keen on any type of planning of a painting , I'm happier with acrylics where I can keep overpainting. I keep plugging away and I'm a lot more happier with watercolours now
