I've only gotten through about 25% of your pieces; but, WOW. I mean, seriously - amazing body of work.

Hey age is just a 66....hee hee....yeah whatever style suits you at the moment should be long as youre pleased and happy with them then go for it....

What I meant by it is that you have so many colours in one image....i.e. your faces dont have just flesh tones but they have yellows and blues and reds etc....likewise with all the other images within one painting...your reds bleed into blues then bleeds into purples then bleed into yellows and so fourth so that seem so time consuming....seems like you are always changing colours in mid stream....that is awesome.....I dont have the patience to do that....

Yeah someone suggested they have a 'love it" button not just a "like" one....and thank you again for supporting my art with your positive comment....

Im 66 so my eyesight isnt as good as it was...people think Im in my 50s which is flattering....some even think late 40s....I dont think I can age

Yeah I am drawn to art that is original and not a copy of some object or some thing like still life, portraits, flowers, animals, etc...dont get me wrong, it takes skill to "copy" these tings but its just copying and not the imagination of the artist.....originals shows the level of that artist's imagination and how creative they are...just my opinion

pple think I get my inspiration from where I live and its environment but I really dont think so...for the most part my art is really from my imagination....I dont like copying things like animals, flowers, etc per se....I like drawing them in my style....creating them as I go challenges my imagination and are of my own originality....

Hi Renate....thank you for sharing your thoughts and your experience...I do appreciate you taking the time to share some encouragement to a fellow artisan....for me when there is no artistic spark I cant create anything at all....I have no interest in wanting to be creative whatever areas that may be....its the way Ive always been...old habits are so hard to break...other artists have given me many suggestions on how I could fuel my imagination and get back to art but its easier said than done...I cant even draw a straight line and be happy with

Hi Renate....

Thank you for the suggestion....I do appreciate it....for me its not a matter of what do draw....I always have lots of ideas but its getting in the mood to draw...when I am not in the mood, I cant draw anything and even if I can draw something, Im not happy with it....nothing I do will satisfy this is what I struggle with....I cant even draw a straight line and be happy with do get inspired by touring the gallery but the mood is not there...ugh!!!

Yesterday we had a huge send off and welcoming of our CEOs at work so we created a ton or flower and couple of coworkers were in charge of decorations...we had so many compliments on the arrangements it was they want to start a mini floral this is the only "artsy" stuff I did recently....
