Hello people!

I am trying to build my art business, and I've noticed (and discussed with people) that a good way to establish a mailing list/client base, is to offer giveaways and competitions. It's a relatively inexpensive way of marketing yourself.

So in that vein, I am offering a competition to win a print of my latest work. Go to my blog site

Thanks for "friending" me Sarah!

Finally should be rested enough and can make some time tonight to work on some combo painting/drawing pieces.

I agree with you there Sarah. It can take hours of precious time participating online. Nevertheless its good to do at least in part since it helps promote your artwork. However doing the actual work of painting (or other arts) has to be the priority.

What I love about this site however is all the good feedback one gets from fellow artists. It makes me feel like I am not quite so alone. I know I also get inspiration from looking at other people's work too.  Its a boost which seems to help me when I am working in my studio
