About Me

As a child, I always had a passion for horses, and spent many hours entertaining myself creating them on paper with crayons. While riding the carousel horses in Santa Cruz, I vowed that some day, I would have my own beautiful horse that I could ride and show. It was always my special dream that eventually came true.

In the past, I created acrylic horse paintings on grape trays for horse show friends; also a few on canvas. The grape trays were popular for artwork. I took stained glass lessons for a year and prepared my own patterns. The first was a horse portrait; next, a beveled-glass-framed peacock; and finally, a large seascape. Since I had a full schedule and didn't have much opportunity to paint, my painting endeavors were left behind. After retirement, friends and neighbors encouraged me to continue with my artwork. I eventually found more time for creativity and began painting on canvas once again. I'm trying to improve, but learn by trial and error. I find painting to be my favorite hobby, and one that keeps me intrigued and busy.
