Good morning Trish love the photo of Isobel raggedy ann ?? never she's beautiful give her a big hug for me !!! Amber is my friend's rescue Staffie & lives in your part of the world a place called Merewether perhaps you know it ?
I'll try to take a photo of the Bernese later to show you. My montage is on hold as I heard from my friend in Washington State yesterday & her dear friend has just lost his dog, he was only 7 & he's heartbroken anyway cutting a long story short I asked her to send photos of her friends dog & I'll try to do a picture for him -- he knows nothing about it so it will be a complete surprise -- that's if the picture turns out okay !! LOL Casper was a white boxer so a bit of a challenge for me !!! LOL Here's one of the pics she sent & probably the one I shall work from ...
How's your Bassett hound coming along -- poor you in that heat it's about 10c here & once again wet today !!! It's a wonder to be we aren't rusty as we've had so much rain over the past days/weeks !! LOL Isn't there a Basset Hound on the Colin Bradley site or did you say you are using coloured pencil ? Anyway must go things to do, take care, Lyn x
Good morning Trish look forward to seeing your new picture. No not decided yet I framed my Bernese puppy & My Boys as well instead I also added a little more colour to the background of My Boys think it looks better !! Maybe today I'll decide !! LOL I'd really like to a montage of our dogs but haven't worked the layout for it yet !! This were my boys playing yesterday afternoon with an old rope pull toy -- there isn't much left of it !! Poppy sat on the sofa watching them & I'm sure she was thinking " what are they like " !!!!! Enjoy your day, Lyn x
thank-you for the photo of Audrey sitting in comfort on her chair. Will you be painting her ? Tell Audrey hi from her Auntie Lyn !!! What are you working on now Trish ? I haven't decided yet what to do but will probably start something today -- if I can make up my mind that is !! LOL
I'm glad your Peter enjoyed his visit to Cornwall in summertime it does get very crowded here with holidaymakers. We tend to avoid these places then as we hate the crowds !!
Here's another collage of Cornwall for you hope you like it, have a great day, Lyn xx
hi again Trish , lovely photo of Lulu & Biscuit a very good age 17 you must have been devastated when you lost him. Unusual colouring wasn't he ? Our Ben was 16 1/2 when we lost him & we were broken hearted so was poor Beau as Ben had always been there for him since a puppy. Poppy arrived about 6 months later & only then was he happy again.
Yes my picture is with pastel pencils still not completely happy with it so you'll have to wait a little longer !! LOL
The photo of Ben & Beau was taken at Cape Cornwall on the North coast which is opposite to Mousehole & Porthcurno which are on the South coast.I love St.Ives which is also on the north coast & one of my favourite places !! Did your partner enjoy his visit to Cornwall ? Here's a photo for you of St.Ives & another with Beau & Poppy when she was a puppy.
Good Morning Trish, Rose looks a real sweetie & sounds like our first goldie Ben everyone loved him & like your Rose was so gentle you know he let my pet canary pull fur from his front paws !! It's so painful to lose them isn't it ? Jasper & Sam both love our Pops & she gets lots of kisses from them both !!!
What do you use to sharpen your pencils ? I found a blade was best as with a pencil sharpener they just kept breaking !! I have a small stanley knife & it really does the job. You may find this link useful .....
Where you will find lots of helpful information. II'm working on a new picture as well of my boys so far quite pleased with it. look forward to seeing your picture of Isobel when finished. Enjoy your day, Lyn x
She's beautiful Trish -- look forward to seeing your picture of her I'm sure it'll be great !! Ask away if you need any help using the pencils I'm fairly new to them myself but will gladly help you if I can okay ? Another photo ? This time of our Poppy .....
Hi Trish, I'd love to see a picture of your Isobel all you do is click on the picture the second one along from the left at the top of the new comment box a box will come up which says choose file -- click on that & choose a photo from your PC -- open & hey presto !! This is a photo of Jasper with Sam at 7 weeks. As you can see Jasper really was so gentle with little Sam & they have become such good friends there is never a dull moment !! LOL Poppy doesn't join in though with the fun & games as they are a little too rough for her she prefers to lie on the sofa & watch !! LOL Teddy bear ? I call him my polar bear !!
