I was telling an artist today I am never quite happy with my work. this is what her father told her."The moment you feel satisfied with your art and think you are great is the moment you cease being a real artist."
I just needed to share that.

muse and inspiraition

What is your muse, or inspiration?

The other day I was in my art room supposedly drawing (I’ve got a few projects on the go), when my girlfriend came down to ask if I wanted another drink (which she often does), but instead of drawing I was playing with the cats “there you go, distracted again!” I say “They are not distractions, they are my muse” I came to our defence.

We both laughed as Clarence just walked head on into the side of my table.

“ Well, at least they are my…

His clam to fame is he loves to sit on my shoulder, but its his way of getting there I dont like...he will jump on me from a hight and scaring the s... happiness out of me or climb up,I dont…

Danny I am happy to accept your request. While looking at your page I came across your wonderful story of you furkids! I love it! Every picture made me smile more than the one before. The cat in your hood, the beautiful dog, then the dog sleeping with the cat then the beautiful lamb! wow what a menagerie you have there. I love my pets I once got two female bunnies because I really wanted a dog, turns out they weren't both females and i ended up with eighteen bunnies. boy was that a shock, it was also interesting and fun.But I still wanted a dog. Finally got one, now I have two and many who come to visit . We have had little frogs and big frogs a lizard here and there,a gerbil and many fish both inside and out. But never had the collection you have. i have three human children but my two dog kids are just as much a part of my house and they are imbedded in my heart, and they usually don't talk back! many years ago I owned a cat and she thought she was a dog! Thanks for sharing your story!

Like all your work but especially the eagle 0081. Bored is also fascinating - especially the red eyes. No name yet - is strange - but I like it, it leaves me just wondering, would I like to meet her on a dark night or on any night! Thankyou.
