Wow I've been on here a few months and only posted one thing ^^; I've been working a lot and had some pretty bad art block for a while, but I'm starting to get back into the swing of things. I'll hopefully post some drawings soon ^^

Salsa and Syncopation

My recent work has tried to express the syncopated rhythm of salsa music visually.  I have had mixed results that found expression in the work called Salsa Struggles.  I am not sure if I have posted it TAC or not, but know I have on and believe I did so on my website  Regardless, my follow the bouncing ball portrayal of eight beats to the measure music has not been fondly received... or so it seems.  Interested in hearing feedback about it.

Just Step Away!

I find more and more that I am taking pictures of my art in different stages of progress..  It is a great way to get perspective on what is or isn't happening to your work.  It lets me know if what I "see" inside my mind is coming together or if I need to rethink that idea or change something before it is too late.

Sometimes I hate what I am doing. I would put it away for the night or the day or the Then walk into a room and it would seem like I was viewing it for the…
