Raising Money with Indiegogo

I love to paint with acrylic. I like to use a brush, but I have issues with my hands (carpal tunnel and Guyon canal syndrome). My left hand is worse, because I'm left handed. I've had the surgery on my left wrist, but I continue to have the same issues but not quite as much numbness. I hate working on a painting and dropping the brush against the canvas because my hand cramped up or finger locked up. It is as frustrating as it sounds. I love to paint impasto with a palette knife, but it's…

Getting my own summer studio!

Hi! This is a big step for me.......I have rented a studio in a very famous location for the summer 2014. The shop is small but is on a very touristy boardwalk. Expensive yes...! However it is location! location! location! It is in Cavendish PEI Canada it is very near the location of the Anne of Green Gables and Road to Avonlea sites so there are thousands of people coming to this location every year. hola from sunny Spain

Hello fellow artists.

I´m glad to be part of an arty community with all of you. I am a teacher and am lucky enough to be able to teach my passions which are art, dance and creative writing. I´m interested in the link between art and poetry and have paintings inspired by poems I´ve written and vice versa. Would be interested to know if anyone else does this.

Indian Art Plate in acrylic

Hi Everyone,

This being my first blog, please cut me some slack. Not truly a formally educated artist, I do have some education in art passed on to me by my first art teacher; Miss Felt. She showed me how to use different mediums, and also to stop doing tiny sketches or doodles. I doodled during boring classes in high school, and in the process would miss much of the content of the daily lessons given by the teacher. My mother entered me in an art talent contest when I was only 8…
