We all vow when the new year comes around we will make changes in our lives. We want to diet, stop smoking, clean the attic or just simplify our very hectic lives.

I guess life is just that way. Things come in ebbs and flows.
I'm back after some time. My drawing was very slow, but I kept at it, but sometimes...barely.
I'm working on some pencil portraiture and doing some review, while maybe sharpening up the skills some here and there. Like anything else, if it doesn't get used so much, it tends to get a little rusty. LOL

A1. I think I was born an artist. My parents recognized that I had some artistic leanings and found ways to nurture that from the time that I was around five years old and continued to find teachers for me as I grew up.
Q2. When, if at all, did you realize that God had called you to become an artist?
I am rather new to painting and would love to learn more. Time is limited as I have a few kids in the house and I work for myself full time as a web developer at janieart.com.
