A couple of years later and still painting!

Some of you may recall that I began painting in the summer of 2012.  It was a light bulb moment when I was shown how to begin on a blank canvas.

Since that day, I have entered and been accepted numerous times in the shows at my local Artist Center in Atlanta. Haven't won a ribbon yet, but that isn't my goal.  I just like the feeling I have when I am painting followed by that feeling of ahhhh...I did that?  I like that!

I have sold a few pieces, was commissioned to do a dog, and now I am starting a new series of little canvases.  I'll post them here when I take the pictures of them.

This blog has no questions.  Just felt like sharing with my fellow and fella artists.  :)

Hi Tom! Thanks for the reminder. I am going to try to post my Tiny House Series. I've completed 6 tiny paintings, each is a 4" x 4" canvas. A local gallery wants to show them in the winter months in time for the holidays! Yay!
