i was told that clouds are never white.. but like water reflect many colors that surround them. i hard for me to always remember this. or rather to express it in paint.. i always think i"m going to ruin a painting using white, black or grey. I discovered that by mixing colors the best you can hope for is grey or some form of indigo, violet, or forest green grey,

 Any way i recently bought some black paint i used it on a painting called folding the nets... somethings are black and i think its ok to use it when the time is right.. i am open to comments on that one

i painted this picture with a one inch brush and nothing else. i was trying to copy the impressionists seeming way of painting. i focused on creating light and not on painting a picture.. i want to apply the idea of hot and cold in things. light is hot or warm and shadow is cold or cool
