Over a year ago, I gave away hundreds of dollars worth of beads because my obsession with beading had run its course.
Then I took up drawing. Soon my small apartment was filled with drawing and painting supplies. My magical magnifying mind thinks that if I just buy more supplies, I will finally be able to DRAW.
As a result, I was soon crowded out by art supplies.
When I look back on my art journey, the only real satisfaction I had was drawing zentangle inspired art. All you need is a pen and a pad of paper! I don't need all this other stuff.
Then it occurred to me that many people create beautiful works of art on iPhones and iPads. At one time, I was a pretty good photoshop user. I even had a cable tv show about it.
Maybe I could, with a lot of practice, learn to use my iPad to make Zentangles.
I've been practicing, and I think I can.
I regret spending (wasting) all that money on art supplies I won't use, but I will pass them on to a deserving student.
I'm going to draw on my iPad.
