Hi Barbara :) Thanks for commenting on my poppies :) I use a multi media paper, 200gsm, seems to do the trick lol! Dont know why you're not happy with your work I think its just beautiful!!!!

Mostly oils, but because of a lack of time (oil paint takes time), I often use water color and acrylics. I'm not a great fan of acylics, but paint I shall paint...even if I have to do it with my left over coffee. :D

I had about 40 odd years playing with oils, 40 years that were wasted because I didn't have the patience with the drying times. I started seriously with graphite in 2010, after trying out acrylics, coloured pencils, pastels and watercolours.
