I am 19 y.o. uni student majoring in Visual Communication Design and I mostly deal with photography, graphic design, and drawings. Never paint anything worth showing, but have a few sketches done for my Drawing class assignments. Next year, I'm taking painting class. And hopefully I will be able to amaze you the way I am amazed with all of your works here! <3

Ok, so that picture above is what I'm about to achieve..
Media: Faber Castell's 48 Colored Pencils on paper. I've printed the picture out and I'm using the grid method.
As you can see the grid method helps me measuring the proportions and it gives me more accuracy for details. I know this method is disliked by some, but this really helps the beginners to improve their intuition. I am a student and I was bad at proportion without grids. But time after time I can indeed go on without grid and though it's not as good as the guided ones, I feel a major improvement in my instinct. :)
