"I think Paul has made such a good point.  There used to be a series of plays and they were known as Whitehall Farces.  ridiculous comedies.  They are no more - but I ask myself maybe I am wrong and they are still around in Whitehall."

"I enjoyed viewing you drawing.  The little cat in the front lying on his back with his paws in the air is just like my little cat who does this.  He is a cat, he purrs like a cat, meows like a cat and looks like a cat but he thinks he is a…"

"Excellent likeness.   Your patience paid off.  I used to use a Rotring pen in my job many years ago and I know just how small the ink surface is. Is your colour blindness restricted to certain colours or does it affect the whole…"

Hello Dorothy,

So pleased that you like “ Man without a gun “ Clint Eastwood.  My understanding is it affects men more than women my spectrum falls under the reddish grey colours,  I have learnt to live with it and as far as painting goes I read a lot and look at videos  for colour tones and skintones and just add the colours what is required and if it looks good to me then I carry on and hope it works. I Went through a period where I was fascinated by detail and using the routine pen gave me that ability. If you have time please have a look at Christ on the Cross which took quite awhile to create.

I take something called Rivotril when I go to bed which helps a lot as it seems to settle the sciatic nerve. I am obliged to visit a neurologist yearly for the prescription. Keep smiling! Can you enjoy a glass of wine? Mxx

I was surprised  at the number you said there are i'd  have thought that the lower than average  tempretures  would have effected the more but then in the summer you have longer daylight hours than we have in the south

It's hard to know who'd  be most surprised  the adder or the person.

there he was stretched  out catching a few ray  and then his whole day goes downhill its no wonder. He got angry.

I only know of one person to have got bitten back in the 1970s ,  He  was fishing on the riverbank and just sorted himself out a playful of food, he was reaching out for something on the plate and felt something that shouldn't  have been there  and it bit him on the hand.

His hand and arm swoll up  but he was allowed home from hospital the next day

Bon courage - as the French say! Just take each day as it comes. Hope you are able to sleep. I understand perfectly as I have a fused spine and a hip replacement, so an uncomfortable body is a daily encumbrance . Mxx
