Hello Kat. Thanks for your welcome reply. I've not been at home for a few days, so this is a bit late in arriving. Being a writer would be a wonderful career to be a part of, so much self explanations of what goes on around you would certainly tell you more of yourself.

Self teaching is a good way of saying what  you do.

Bye for now.. keep on keeping on

Your work is striking Kate, such fun with your colours and fresh free approach. You work appears to be confident and bold and strong. It's great

Hello Kat. Many thanks for your kindly remarks on my work.....How long have I been drawing....since I was a small child.... I started painting when I was 61, so 18 years. I started in an adult education centre for the retired. Not sure what you mean by other forms of art.. heaps of sewing, cross stitch, tapestry, basket making. Card making, beading and rug making, probably other stuff, I loved it all, only do art and quilt making now. Oh did ceramics too, Celtic themes on those in the main.

Can't remember what else you asked, so I'll leave this for now. I've changed what I do, so as to feel freer, hence the bright colours now and more in the form of folk art, that way the art doesn't take long to do, except for the zentangles I do in ink, they take a bit longer, but still nothing too large. Hope I've not bored you..   Lots of love Barbara.
