Profile Information

About me

I am a retired geriatric old f**t. with 72 years of fun behind me

I live on the east coast of South Africa in a village called Scottburgh.

Up until recently I still did para gliding, bungy jumping and scuba diving but now I design, make and fly kites as a hobby.

I have written a number of novels, a few plays and a bag full of short stories

I also sketch, paint, sculpt and create in all sorts of mediums.

There is no way however that any right thinking person can accuse me of being an artist in any form or fashion.

I'm just a dabbler.

My motto is:- It is never too late to have a happy childhood.

and I try to live every day as if it is my last.

That is probably why I never have any clean socks for who wants to spend his last day on earth washing socks.

A bad BAD word

Posted on April 28, 2013 at 10:33am 6 Comments

Hi all.

It has been a while since I last posted anything.

I have had a new very bad word added to my vocabulary

This is even worse than Dratt, botherations and dang.

Ouch comes close though

Such is life in the slow lane. However:-

In the words of Terry Pratchett's Granny Weatherwax, "I ain't ded yet."

Glad to see you haven't archived me yet.
